No. The web dashboard runs in any browser. The mobile app is one app for students, parents, teachers — and light owner tools — each with a role-aware shell.

Identity & marketplace
What is a Karkaye ID?
A permanent platform identity (your academic passport) assigned once to each person. It is role-neutral and not owned by a single school — so the same person can be a student at one institute, a parent at another, and a teacher at a third without creating new accounts.
What is the course marketplace?
A public catalog of courses institutes choose to publish. Learners can browse before joining, then request to join or scan an institute QR and keep the same Karkaye ID. Private courses stay off the marketplace.
Can one person join multiple institutes?
Yes. Memberships stack under one login. In the app you switch institute and role from your identity passport — no juggling multiple phone numbers or apps.
People & access
How do students and parents log in?
Phone OTP, or email and password — whichever is easiest. Guardians can follow multiple children from one account.
Can parents track more than one child?
Yes — multi-child picker per institute, plus multi-institute switch if kids train at different centers.
Can we control what staff and teachers can see?
Yes — owners configure roles and permissions so staff only see and do what you’ve allowed.

How does fee collection work?
Fee plans per batch, generate dues, record cash/UPI or take online payments with receipts and reminders.
Can we run more than one branch?
Yes — multi-site scoping for staff and data; owners still see the whole institute.
What about live classes, leave, and PTM?

Trust & pricing
Is our data shared with other institutes?
No. Each institute’s operational data is isolated at the database level. People can join multiple institutes, but one institute cannot query another’s private records. See Security.
